My Favorite Kunsthalle Museum Paintings, Hamburg, Germany

  • Self portrait of Hamburg artist Max Liebermann, a Jew who was removed from his post by the Nazis in the 1930s.
  • Women repairing fishing nets; a very poignant sad painting by Hamburg artist Max Liebermann as they are clearly impoverished.
